Whenever i go to Leadership, i try to go a few days early, or at least a day so that I can mentally prepare and relax a bit before the conference begins. My sister Joanne lives in Chicago so my sister Susy and I decided to come in early and enjoy a visit with her, and her family. My sister Anne flew in from FL as well..so we have had a great visit so far. Yesterday, we started with High Tea at the Drake Hotel in downtown Chicago. It is a tradition, we have done it many times. Then we went shopping up and down Michigan Ave and ended downtown up at a great Bistro at 8pm last night. Today, we will do more of the same.
Yesterday, I handed out my business card several times to women who seemed interested in my business. I started by talking to the flight attendent on Southwest...she loved our jewelry and i could tell she liked jewelry simply by what she was wearing. I emailed my assistant her address so that she could send her a Business Opp packet. Today, my quest is to hand out 5 cards...check back later and I will let you know what happened! By the way, my show on Wed night is at $750 with 4 more orders coming...i am pleased. And my show in Newark, OH is at $500..and it should be up to $1000 by Sunday.
