It's Vacation Time!

One of the reasons I love my job is that I don't have to ask to go on a vacation from my boss!  Why?  I am my boss, so i do what i want.  We are going to Mexico and we can't wait! It is an important time that we set aside each year for fun! But of course, I just can't go with out doing the business it requires for a trip like this! Pre planning by doing a certain number of shows is definitley required! I do at least 2 shows per week which requires hostess coaching and stellar customer care!

Great Preview Last Night in Springboro, OH, Cincy is March 22nd

Last night we Had Team Dayton's Jewelry Preview at Dorothy Lane Market in Springboro, OH. This is an awesome location...it is a gourmet grocery Store and they have free meeting space on the second level. As long as we reserve the space, it is ours. Thank you to Lynne Bartley, Silver Manager for making all of the details count.
Nicole Locke, Debbie Waples, Nancy Trago, Gina Murphy, Lisa Sargent, Rachel Fugate Wiseman, Beth Wilson are all Star Leaders and they participated as well. We will have the Cincy Preview on March 22nd at Panera Bread in Cincy.
This Dayton team has grown so much...our first meeting 3 1/2 years ago was with 4 people, now we have at least 40 team members and a very successful preview last night to top it off...several women were interested in our business opportunity and lots of good questions.
One of the best things that happened is that 2 reps are going to start meetings in North Dayton...even though they are leaving, they will go and start another area for reps to attend and get the info they need to keep their businesses going! In VA, they are doing it as well. There is 2 rock solid meetings in the Southern VA area...and now we will have 2 Dayton area meetings and one Cincy meeting! With Debbie Waples in Indy, we are looking good for now! Next area, KY! If you want to start a team meeting, i am happy to help you get started. Lots of Technology!

I have been out of town doing Jewelry Previews and now I am back!! I did have my computer with me and my smart phone..but I still felt out of touch. So, I have been going through my emails,my Facebook, going through voice mails and all of this other technology that keeps me connected..but what I really love is the Face to Face with my team. I am going to Dayton tonight for another Jewelry Preview and i can't wait to see everyone...that is where the relationships are made. It is the same thing with my hostesses and customers, i am much better in front of them instead of on the computer!

Finally, I had a good show!!

I am so glad!! I haven't had a really good show since the end of Jan 2010. All of Feb was a collection of $700, $500, and $350, but finally tonight at had a $1300! Did i do anthing different? Did I hostess coach? Yes! Did I do customer care? Yes! Did I do reminder calls? Yes! Did I do that for every show in Jan, Feb and now March? Yes! Why was this different? No School tomorrow. Most of the ladies were Mom's of school age kids and were out for a few hours. We really having a good time! I so enjoyed myself and my job. I am so happy.

Tomorrow, is party number #3. I am ready!

Lots going on!!

Sorry it has been a while since i have blogged! I have a good excuse. We are planning a Huge Silpada Party on Sunday in Worthington, OH for Silpada and it has taken a lot of preparation! We have 28 reps with tables and retired Silpada Jewelry and 80 reps total participating! We are so excited!!

I have had 3 shows this week, show #2 is tonight. I just adore the hostesses, they are both 2nd time hostesses and so this is easy! I actually look foward to them and seeing my friends.

I am packing for VA! I am trying to prepare ahead of time so i can spend time with girls and husband Craig this weekend. I want to enjoy some special time with them this weekend prior to leaving on Monday.

I am thinking maybe we will go out for dinner on Saturday. What do you think?
